What information should I send to you for an FEA quotation?


The basic information that you need to provide to receive a fixed price quotation from us is as follows;
​
  1. CAD models in SOLIDWORKS or STEP is preferable. Otherwise IGES and Parasolid format.
  2. If CAD models don’t exist, then provide a drawing or sketch showing dimensions.
  3. List of components and material grades if known.
  4. List of load cases if known.
  5. Brief description of what the product does and how it works.
  6. List of Design Codes or Standards that must be met if required.
  7. List of questions that you expect to be answered. i.e. What is the maximum load that can be applied to the part before it yields etc. etc.

​We aim to provide fixed price quotations within 24 hours of receiving the enquiry. Alternatively, we can also offer consultancy services on an hourly basis if preferred.
